Cytogenetics Analyst - US Remote
Labcorp is seeking a US remote-based Cytogenetics Technologist to join our team in Research Triangle Park, NC!Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (candidate's local time zone)Job Responsibilities:Perform analysis of chromosomes, which includes imaging and karyotyping of cytogenetic specimens. Focus is primarily on constitutional blood cases, with a possibility of prenatal casesAnalyze chromosomes for count, structural abnormality, and morphology from computer acquired image of a metaphase according to appropriate SOPPrepare preliminary report for interpretation by arranging (karyotyping) the different pairs of chromosomes identifying their proper numerical sequence
