Ascension Seton/Dell Children's Medical Group is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Clinical Genetics physician for our Dell Children's Medical Center team! Position Highlights:
- Clinic Schedule is Monday - Thursday with Friday as protected time for academic/diagnosis research and collegial collaboration on patient cases.
- Clinical Genetics has a ratio of 2 Genetic Counselors (GC) to 1 Attending Physician. Additionally, we have RN staffing, CMA (certified medical assistant) staffing, a Social Worker and a robust administration staff.
- Call rotation at Dell Children's Medical Center (DCMC) and Ascension Seton Medical Center of Austin (ASMCA) NICU is divided equally between attending physicians.
- Weekday hospital consults are shared with GCs.
This job location is not currently located in Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type. MD or DO and medical license to practice in the state of Texas required.
