UCSF Fresno and Central California Faculty Medical Group (CCFMG) are currently recruiting for academic faculty members in Genetics. The responsibilities include teaching pediatric and genetic residents and medical students, and providing specialty evaluations for adult and pediatric patients in a new outpatient facility and tertiary level NICU. Prenatal diagnosis supervision and involvement in fetal care is integral to the practice. Interest or experience in patient-centered research is desirable and clinical research opportunities are abundant. The UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program is based at a large regional medical center and multiple pediatric subspecialists support the practice of clinical genetics.
The program is based in Fresno, California, where residents enjoy a high standard of living combined with a low cost of living. The result is a quality of life uniquely Californian, yet surprisingly affordable. Limitless recreational opportunities and spectacular scenery are all accessible in a multi-cultural community with abundant affordable housing. While there is much to see and do in Fresno, the city is ideally located for access to the majestic Sierras (just 90 minutes away) as well as the scenic Central Coast, or San Francisco. Fresno is the only major city in the country with close proximity to three national parks, including renowned Yosemite National Park.

Central California Faculty Medical Group is an organization of more than 230 faculty physicians and additional staff providing care in approximately 80 specialties and subspecialties in inpatient and outpatient facilities. Our goal is to provide knowledgeable, compassionate care close to where you live and work.
Within CCFMG, we have more than 15 faculty practice site locations throughout the Central Valley known as the University Centers for Excellence. Each University Center for Excellence location is staffed by physicians who serve on the faculty for the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, and teach at the UCSF Fresno branch campus. This partnership provides our community access to world-class, UCSF faculty physicians right here in the Central Valley. We train more than 250 medical residents and fellows every year, approximately half of whom stay in the Central Valley to practice, live, and raise their families.
Our Mission:
Advancing the health of the diverse communities we serve through excellence in patient care, education and research in an environment of collaboration and respect.
