Pediatric Genetic Counselor
The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Genetics at the University of Kansas School of Medicine—Wichita is seeking a genetic counselor for a full-time faculty position. The genetic counselor will join a team of two medical geneticists and a genetic counselor in a clinic that serves Central and Western Kansas. The genetic counselor will manage the prenatal genetic service line and work collaboratively with Maternal Fetal Medicine and Neonatologists to evaluate and follow up on pregnancies with high risk of genetic etiology. This is a clinical position where the genetic counselor will see patients independently as well as with support of our medical geneticist, maternal fetal medicine, neonatology and other physicians.
