Assistant Professor of Pathology – Division of Genomic Medicine
Clinical service responsibilities include molecular and genomic pathology interpretation and sign-out oncology and constitutional genetics in a state-of-the-art multiplatform diagnostic service, including whole exome and transcriptome sequencing, next-generation sequencing DNA and RNA panels, copy number profiling and targeted molecular testing. Teaching responsibilities include participation in the ACGME-certified Molecular Genetic Pathology Fellowship and Pathology Residency programs at BCM. Clinical and translational research responsibilities include developing molecular genetic and genomic tests relevant to constitutional genetic disorders and cancers in children, and participation in clinical research studies in precision oncology.
