The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) currently seeks a Program Director - Genetic Counseling to join our growing team! The Program Director will have generalized involvement in all genetic counseling services, to include program design and development, on-going management, physician and clinician engagement, and fiscal oversight (budget management, ROI tracking, etc.). This person will work in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team and will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and overseeing the complete care of the patient to ensure high quality care across all care delivery sites. This person independently provides genetic counseling and referral services for patients of all age groups who have or are at risk for genetic conditions or birth defects.
The Program Director will work closely with the Genetic Counseling Physician Champion to grow and strengthen the genetic counseling services provided at Kaiser Permanente along with providing administrative support for clinic operations. This role will require the Program Director to serve as a strong liaison between TSPMG and the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, as well as within specialty care departments.
