Opportunities for employment are available in the following areas of genetic counseling: Split position Prenatal with Adult/Neurogenetic counseling Our genetic counselors are responsible for conducting intake screening and risk assessment, explaining the nature and scope of testing procedures, and following up with results. We also provide opportunities to teach and supervise residents, fellows, undergraduate students and graduate genetic counseling students. The genetic counselors will also provide educational lectures to professionals as well as participate in community outreach. Educational enrichment is integral to the position with participation in journal clubs, and case conferences.
