The Division of Clinical Genetics/Dysmorphology at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, is seeking a full time Clinical Geneticist to join the growing genetics team. Salary and track will be commensurate with training and experience. The Division provides the full range of genetic services to children, conducting genetics and metabolic clinics in Albuquerque and at outreach clinics throughout New Mexico. Inpatient genetics consults are performed at University of New Mexico Children’s Hospital in Albuquerque. The Division of Pediatric Genetics is committed to providing the children of New Mexico with comprehensive genetic healthcare that is unequaled in the state and region. The genetics team’s unique outreach program, traveling mostly by airplane to all corners of New Mexico, enables the provision of genetics services to children throughout this geographically large and diverse state.

BC/BE in Clinical Genetics and Genomics by time of hire
Completed Medical genetics training from an accredited program by time of hire
Able to obtain state medical licensure in New Mexico
