St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children is seeking applicants for the position of Section Chief ofPediatric Genetics to join our clinical program dedicated to the diagnosis and care of individuals with a wide variety of genetic diagnoses in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Candidates interested in combining clinical research with practice are encouraged to apply. The Section of Clinical Genetics currently consists of one clinical geneticist, cytogeneticist and one genetic counselor.
The successful candidate will possess strong clinical skills and have a strong interest in teaching. Salary and an academic appointment, at Drexel University College of Medicine with a rank commensurate, will be appropriate to the applicant’s experience and expertise. Applicants should be BE/BC in Clinical Genetics & Genomics with additional board certification in Clinical Biochemical Genetics preferred. Individuals must be eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania.
Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
BE/BC in Clinical Genetics & Genomics, with additional board certification in Clinical Biochemical Genetics preferred
Hold or be eligible for an unrestricted and unchallenged license to practice medicine in the state of Pennsylvania
Valid DEA Licensure
The successful candidate will possess strong clinical skills and have a strong interest in teaching
