Responsible for overall administration of Tenet Florida Physician Services (TFPS) assigned physician practices. Develops and implements strategic, tactical and performance improvement plans to support current operations and future growth. Collaborates with physicians and practice administrators to facilitate high quality, cost-effective patient care. Shares in accountability for financial performance of designated sites. Aligns key supporting teams within TFPS to define objectives and achieve targeted goals. Interfaces and/or develops appropriate programs and/or services within designated service lines. Able to communicate effectively and implement system-wide initiatives (HR, Marketing). Contributes to growth and profitability by providing operational expertise to existing and potential physician practices. Proven leadership with high volume, outpatient multi physician practice operations. Knowledge of reimbursement and continuous improvement methods, along with the demonstrated ability to develop and lead highly effective teams. Proven experience in developing and maintaining physician relationships, as well as expertise in leading management and multi-disciplinary teams in the achievement of company goals. Ability to manage across dispersed practices and multi-specialty environment. Planning and managing projects with the ability to oversee and coordinate various activities concurrently, anticipate changes and adjust accordingly in a fast-paced environment.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience required to perform the job.
? Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in physician practice management, including oversight of multiple physician practices, offices or clinics
? Knowledge of physician practice financial administration and payer reimbursement.
? Demonstrated budgeting, financial, and mathematics skills
? Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
? Strong communication skills at all levels
? Ability to analyze problems and consistently follow through to solution
? Knowledge of third party payers
? Ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and problem solving expertise
? Healthcare background is strongly desirable
? EMR/EHR experience preferred, NextGen or Athena experience preferred
? Proficiency in a windows environment with a working knowledge of Word, Outlook, and the Internet is required
? Willingness to be flexible and adaptable in a complex, matrix environment
