Supervises daily operations of phlebotomists and lab assistants. Assists in selection of personnel for hire. Performance management, and makes recommendations on discipline and terminations.

Ensures service level agreements are met through implementation of operational efficiencies.
Will oversee all aspects of reference lab/sendout testing, as requested.
Required: High School Graduate or equivalent
Required: 3 years of phlebotomy or specimen processing (pre-analytic) experience with increasing responsibility in an acute care facility
Required: Phlebotomy Certification where State law requires Preferred: Completion of formal phlebotomy training program and/or national phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ANP, ASPT or similar.
