Under supervision of the Chief Therapist, localizes tumor site and applies ionizing radiation to the patient in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist. Maintains detailed records of all treatment sessions, including verification of area treated and dose given, proper patient alignment to the machine and the total dose of radiation received to date.
Completion of a Certificate program, Associateï¿½s degree or Bachelorï¿½s degree program in Radiation Therapy. Able to read, write and speak English.
One year on-the-job experience preferred.
