The Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Immunology at the University of Minnesota is seeking a Pediatric Infectious Disease Physician for a full-time position as Division Director at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank on an academic or master clinician track.
About the Appointment:
The incoming Director will leverage the extraordinary scientific opportunities in collaboration with the University of Minnesota Department of Microbiology and Immunology, the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology, the Institute for Cell, Gene, and Immunotherapy, the Center for Immunology, the Institute for Virology, the Center for Translational Medicine, the Clinical Translational Science Institute and other resources such as the Molecular and Cellular Therapeutics GMP Facility.
The Director will set the vision for the next scientific era in pediatric infectious diseases and immunology at the University of Minnesota Medical School while embracing the legacy of mentorship, training and outstanding clinical care.
Graduate of an accredited ACGME Pediatric residency and Pediatric Infectious Diseases fellowship training program.
Board-certified in Pediatric Infectious Diseases
At least eight years of experience in Pediatric Infectious Diseases and/or Pediatric Immunology with increasing institutional or other leadership experience.
A track record of extramural funding.
Peer-reviewed publications in infectious diseases and/or immunology.
