Baptist Health Care is seeking full-time Medical Laboratory Scientists to join our team, located just minutes from Pensacola Beach, Florida. This is an amazing opportunity for passionate and motivated medical professionals with the drive to provide the gold-standard of care for our patients.
Our laboratory scientists are responsible for analyzing laboratory specimens and result reporting according to laboratory protocol and procedures. They perform requested clinical procedures on body fluids and clinical procedures related to patient care, performs quality control maintenance and troubleshooting on laboratory instruments, performs clerical work in the absence of a technical assistant and assists the manager in any capacity requested. CLS's conduct QA and QC reviews, blood utilization reviews and billing for blood bank and send out to departments. Our team members are expected to understand and apply blood bank theory demonstrated through the ability to perform complex antibody identification successfully.
Qualified candidates must have:
B.S. in Medical Technology (Clinical Laboratory Science) or equivalent that would qualify for Florida State Technologist license
Current Florida state license as a Medical Technologist or eligible for state licensure
