This is an excellent opportunity for a full-time Audiologist looking to work in a dynamic and patient-centric, private medically based ENT and audiology practice in Fredericksburg, VA. Our staff currently consists of seven otolaryngologists, four audiologists, two 4th year Au.D. students and an oto-tech. We have three office locations that cover the areas of Fredericksburg, Stafford and Spotsylvania, Virginia and the surrounding areas. This position offers an opportunity to see and treat a wide range of ear pathologies on patients of all ages.
Job duties include a full range of diagnostic testing including: comprehensive audiological and vestibular evaluations, tinnitus assessments, auditory processing disorder evaluations, and electrophysiological testing including newborn hearing screenings. With our separate audiology department, Hearing Resource Center, you will have the opportunity to dispense premium hearing instruments including tinnitus treatment devices and cochlear implants, as well as provide aural rehabilitation and hearing conservation.
Doctorate degree in Audiology (AuD) preferred
Active Virginia Audiology license or eligible if licensed in another state
Active VA HA Dispensing license
Experience with Lyric and cochlear implants desired, but not a requirement
Experience with VNG, ECochG, ABR, ASSR, and VEMP is preferred, but not required
Experience and/or willingness to supervise and mentor AuD students
Knowledge of fitting major manufacturers’ hearing aids
Ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of patients
Independently interpret results
Ability and experience working independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational skills
Motivated with a strong work ethic
