Massachusetts General Hospital, located in Boston, Massachusetts, is seeking an academic and scientific leader to fill the position of Director for the Center for Genomic Medicine (CGM).
We are seeking a recognized leader with a national/international track record of scientific accomplishment in the field of human genetics and/or genomics research. It is imperative that the candidate have experience in leading a department or research center within a complex academic environment. The candidate should have a clear vision for fostering excellence in patient care, research and teaching. It will also be essential that candidates have excellent organizational, interpersonal, fiscal and fundraising skills.
The candidate should have an MD or PhD degree. Also, the candidate should be qualified to be appointed at the professor or associate professor level at Harvard Medical School.
