We are currently recruiting for an experienced, dynamic Director of Perioperative Clinical Operations - Christiana Campus to assume overall leadership, strategic planning, staffing and coordination of services.
The Position's primary function is to oversees the operations of Perioperative Services-Christiana Campus and assumes 24/7 responsibility for efficient, effective and safe care with a strong focus on quality, outcomes, patient and medical staff satisfaction. These responsibilities include oversight over the Christiana Operating Room, Christiana PACU and Prep and Holding, Christiana Surgery and Procedure Unit, Christiana Surgery Center, CHR and Wilmington Endoscopy, PEP and Scheduling.
The most qualified candidate is someone who has managed in the Operating Room at a Level One Trauma Center. Candidate has managed full operations of 15-30 Operating Rooms.
BSN and Master's degree Or alternatively, a Bachelor's degree and Masters of Science in Nursing required.
Professional certification required. (Leadership, CNOR or other related to perioperative services)
Must have a minimum of 5 years appropriate clinical and leadership experience, including successful budgeting, recruitment/retention strategies and performance improvement for patient care initiatives.
