The Director, Real Estate Compliance has responsibility for managing the implementation of Tenetâ��s Ethics and Compliance program with respect to Tenetâ��s real estate portfolio. The position will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive real estate compliance program, in conjunction with individuals from Real Estate Operations, the Law Department, and our contracted Real Estate management company. Key functions include developing and conducting lease auditing and monitoring activities, strategic oversight of walkthrough/space management efforts, regular interface with real estate operations personnel to identify and manage compliance risks, developing and conducting educational materials/events, review and drafting of real estate policies and Standard Operating Procedures, etc.
A college degree or equivalent is required. Strong preference for at least 5 years experience in healthcare compliance, real estate, or a related field, preferably for a large, multi-faceted healthcare company with significant real estate holdings.
Minimum Professional Qualifications:
â�¢The successful candidate will be recognized for demonstrated knowledge in compliance process improvement, with preference given for candidates with familiarity with the requirements of Federal healthcare programs.
â�¢Prior legal, auditing or similar compliance experience.
â�¢Clear, concise and persuasive writing and presentation skills.
â�¢Strong organizational skills and an orientation to deadlines and detail.
â�¢Ability to respond well under pressure.
â�¢Skills in use of information systems, databases, Excel and Microsoft Word.
â�¢Enjoys working as a member of a cohesive team, and is good at doing so.
â�¢Well-developed communications and consensus building skills.
