Under the supervision of the Director of RehabilitationServices and, the Occupational Therapist is responsible for providingoccupational therapy modalities and treatments in accordance with theestablished hospital and departmental policies and procedures and under theguidelines of the board of professional regulations and the occupationaltherapy practice act. Maintaining thehighest degree of quality patient care at all times
Must possess a Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree inOccupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Must have a current professional license issued by theFlorida Board of Occupational Therapy Practice.
BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of the principles and applications ofOccupational Therapy Modalities and treatments. Capability to evaluate and assess the patients condition. Knowledge of Infection Control, and BodyMechanics Techniques to be applied during patient care. One year experience,recent graduate will be considered.
