The Division of Genetics in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Illinois at Chicago seeks a full-time Pediatric geneticist to join the Division. Board certification/eligibility in Clinical Genetics and Pediatrics is required. Board eligibility/certification in Biochemical Genetics is required and would provide opportunity for involvement in the Biochemical Genetics program and laboratories of the University of Illinois Hospital.
The Division provides in-patient and out-patient coverage in the Children’s Hospital University of Illinois (CHUI) and at satellite clinics. CHUI is a hospital within the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System and is the primary teaching hospital of the University of Illinois at Chicago and includes all pediatric medical and surgical subspecialties. Participation in the educational program for residents, fellows, nurses and medical students is essential. There is excellent opportunity for clinical and basic sciences research.
Doctor of medicine degree from an ACGME accredited medical college.
Unrestricted Illinois license to practice medicine or Illinois license eligible.
Board certification/eligibility in Clinical Genetics and Pediatrics is required.

Candidates with administrative experience may be considered for the position of Division Chief. Rank, tenure status and salary will be commensurate with training and experience.
