Advocate Children’s Hospital / Advocate Medical Group (AMG) seeks a BE/BC Clinical Geneticist for our Oak Lawn campus, located just southwest of Chicago. We seek a passionate clinician to evaluate children and adults for suspected genetic disorders; consult on pre-conception and prenatal patients as needed, in conjunction with genetic counselor and; provide care management of children with congenital/genetic disorders.
Physician will share inpatient consults and after-hours calls.
Physician will also likely participate in multidisciplinary clinics and outreach clinics.
The Division of Clinical Genetics is a growing program with opportunities for growth and expansion of services in general genetics as well as specialty programs such as cardiogenetics and neurogenetics.
In addition, we seek an enthusiastic approach to education of rotating medical students, genetic counseling students, and residents as well as didactic lectures for various medical students, residents, and fellows.
Certification in pediatrics (or internal medicine) preferred.
