We are seeking a Histotechnologist to prepare microscopic slides and perform diagnostic tests for subsequent examination and diagnosis by the pathologist; maintain laboratory equipment and records; provide instruction as needed; and act as a resource to medical team members.
HTL (ASCP) certification with a Bachelor's degree in the biological sciences, chemistry, or medical technology, or completion of a CAHEA-accredited histotechnology program
One year of full-time experience in histopathology within the last ten years
Knowledge of histologic, immunohistochemistry, and special stain techniques and histology automation
Advanced knowledge of the CoPath system and ability to assist with upgrades and modifications to system workflow
Non-traditional route to established skill level may be accepted after a review of education and experience
