The Clinical Development Associate develops, evaluates, and transfers complex laboratory tests/methodologies from translational research into the clinical laboratory providing intellectual and scientific expertise. Primarily focuses on development of new, complex methods which require the acquisition, modification and/or use of new technology. Maintains complete and accurate documentation of data generated and work performed. Organizes new method validation data, finalizes data for publication and peer review. Presents the results of development projects at national and international professional meetings. Demonstrates expertise in scientific writing and submits manuscripts for publication; publishing as first author. Makes final recommendation to the laboratory directors and supervisors in the evaluation of laboratory equipment, instrumentation, procedures, and computer software and hardware. Direct reporting relationship to the supervisor of the laboratory. Receives direction on project assignments and prioritization from the Consultant/Laboratory Director/Development Technologist Coordinator and Supervisor.

Compensation Detail Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $2,750.40, based on a full-time position.
