We have openings for Medical Geneticists at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. This is a great opportunity to join a strong Human Genetics Division, which includes a Genetics and Genomics Diagnostic Lab, DNA sequencing core, Biobank, Genetic counseling training program, and Medical Genetics Categorical and Pediatric Genetics Combined Residency programs within the division.
We are particularly interested in mid-career applicants interested in biochemical genetics but are open to all candidates.
Requirements:
Must be an MD/PhD or MD/DO or equivalent medical degree with a current clinical faculty appointment, and proven experience in the diagnosis of rare genetic diseases in children and adults.
As a successful candidate, you will provide safe, effective, and innovative patient care, develop clinical skills and programs that are locally or regionally distinctive, and provide disease-specific expert consultation to patients.
You will also monitor the appropriateness and timeliness of therapeutic management and promote patient care outcomes on an ongoing basis.
You will participate in training and education, conduct independent or collaborative research projects, and contribute to the department's service and administrative activities.
